Ettore Messina reacted to Milan’s crushing loss to Virtus Bologna, which ended their playoff hopes, by saying, "We’ll be okay."
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan suffered a shocking 70–90 blowout defeat against Virtus Bologna in Round 33 of the EuroLeague, a result that officially ended their hopes of securing the final play-in spot.
Following the game, Milan head coach Ettore Messina addressed the tough loss, citing a depleted roster and a lack of confidence as key issues.
"We have too many people out, we have zero confidence in what we’re doing, and obviously, it was not a good performance," Messina said in a postgame interview. "But we will recover the players, and we will be okay."
