Shavon Shields suffered an injury during EA7 Emporio Armani Milan’s crushing 70–90 defeat to Virtus Bologna — a loss that officially ended their playoff hopes.
Shields, one of Milan’s key contributors this season, did not return for the second half after sustaining what appeared to be a groin injury in the first.
In the postgame press conference, Milan head coach Ettore Messina confirmed that Shields had suffered an adductor injury, stating that if all goes well in his recovery, he should be out for at least about a month.
