Fenerbahce's General Manager Maurizio Gherardini praised Euroleague, but also states that there is some room for improvement.
As revealed by Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews, Fenerbahce has expressed their commitment to the Euroleague in the future.
The board advisor of champions of Turkiye, Maurizio Gherardini, talked to Reuters about the current landscape of European basketball:
"All the parameters of the EuroLeague keep growing, in terms of fans, attendance, social media interaction, sponsors, interest. And it’s not a coincidence," Gherardini noted, before mentioning that NBA could bring benefits.
"That being said, I think we can do better, maybe with somebody else’s contribution or guidance."
"But what you breathe inside some of the arenas in Europe is something that you cannot find anywhere else in the basketball world in terms of that sort of atmosphere."
