Hapoel Tel Aviv earned EuroLeague promotion by winning the 2025 EuroCup.
The EuroLeague will feature two Israeli teams next season, as Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv have earned promotion after defeating Gran Canaria 103-94 on the road and sweeping the EuroCup Finals series 2-0.
Hapoel became the second Israeli team to win EuroCup after Jerusalem did that in 2004.
Meanwhile, Hapoel coach Dimitris Itoudis joins a select club of EuroLeague and EuroCup winning coaches: Dusan Ivkovic, David Blatt, and Ergin Ataman.
But Hapoel isn't planning to stop there. While their EuroLeague spot for next season comes via a wild card, the team is actively pursuing a long-term B license, according to club owner Ofer Yannay.
On the roster front, Hapoel is reportedly targeting big names for next season, including Vasilije Micic, Chima Moneke, Jean Montero, and Mfiondu Kabengele.
