Nikola Jokic, a three-time NBA MVP, is expected to lead Serbian national team in pursuit of gold at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
Silver at FIBA World Cup 2023, bronze at the Paris Olympics last summer, and gold at FIBA EuroBasket 2025? That's the goal set for Serbia. The ambition is clear, but there's one crucial condition—players must stay healthy.
Though, EuroBasket fans can likely expect to see three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic competing for Serbia.
Nebojsa Covic, the president of the Serbian basketball federation, indicated in an interview with Sportal.rs that Jokic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and other core players have agreed to stick together, provided Svetislav Pesic remains the coach.
