Crvena Zvezda president Zeljko Drcelic and director Nemanja Vasiljevic criticized the EuroLeague and Bayern head coach Gordon Herbert following their play-in loss to Bayern Munich.
Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade suffered a tough 93–97 overtime loss to FC Bayern Munich in the play-in, bringing their season to an end.
Right after the final whistle, emotions ran high — even leading to heated altercations between Bayern's head coach Gordon Herbert and Crvena Zvezda players Nikola Kalinic and Branko Lazic.
Zvezda's executives also had something to say after the game. Club president Zeljko Drcelic stated that they've been facing adversity the whole season and called it a disgrace to end things that way.

"What we've been seeing all season, we saw again tonight. No one is doing us any favors, yet we're treated like we should be honored just to play. You pay them to rob you... It's a disgrace," Drcelic told Meridian Sport.
Zvezda's director, Nemanja Vasiljevic, pointed out the inappropriate behavior of coach Herbert after the game.
"In the last four games, we've played three overtimes. There's a bitter taste left," Vasiljevic said.
"I have to say this publicly. The behavior of the opposing coach was so disgraceful that I'm at a loss for words," he stated via Meridian Sport.
He also briefly reflected on the season and hinted at an even stronger campaign ahead.
"When the season started, our goal was to fight for the playoffs. We achieved that. The players fought hard. We now face an important EuroLeague season ahead, and we'll prepare to take another step forward," Vasiljevic concluded.
