The 32-year-old center Kostas Koufos will join the League Ignite in the NBA G League, the club announced today. The team is based in California and is not affiliated with any specific NBA club.
Koufos represented Olympiacos Piraeus last season. He appeared in eight Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contests, averaging 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.8 PIR.
The Greek big man was a member of CSKA Moscow before that. He also spent 11 seasons in the NBA, representing the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and Sacramento Kings.
