FC Barcelona coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and point guard Nicolas Laprovittola will be able to participate this Sunday in the ACB duel against BAXI Manresa after testing negative for covid-19 in the last test carried out by the club.
"The Lithuanian coach will lead Barca-Baxi Manresa, while the participation of the Argentine guard will depend on his physical condition," the Catalan club announced this Saturday.
Jasikevicius and Laprovittola tested positive for coronavirus on December 31, so they had already completed seven days of mandatory isolation.
Barca still have several players out with COVID. Guard Dante Exum, forward Sergi Martinez, center Brandon Davies and the youngsters Michael Caicedo and Gael Bonilla are the ones who remain quarantined. Nick Calathes recovered, but can't play due to a long-term injury.
