On December 7, Shams Charania and Bob Kravitz of The Athletic reported that Indiana Pacers are receptive to trade talks centered on Caris LeVert and either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner.

However, on January 10, Shams Charania wrote in his text that Sabonis' departure is unlikely due to the extremely high value of the two-time All-Star big man. Charania received this information from rival executives.

The great value of Sabonis is not a coincidence. The 25-year-old is playing a successful season, registering 19.1 points, 12 rebounds, and 4.6 assists over 39 games.

According to The Athletic, rival teams are ramping up conversations with the Pacers, involving guard Caris LeVert and center Myles Turner. The Mavericks, Knicks, Lakers, and Hornets expressed interest in Turner.

The Cavaliers are among interested squads in LeVert, as he would provide a combo guard able to handle the ball and playmaker in the season-ending absence of Collin Sexton and Rubio, per the report.
