Amedeo Della Valle has been nothing short of outstanding for Germani Brescia's impressive Serie A run.

The team from Lombardy snatched their sixth consecutive victory downing Umana Reyer Venezia on the road 93-82.

In a league full of not-domestic players, the 28-year-old from Alba, Cuneo, is the one who scores the most (19.2 points per game) and also performs better than anyone (21.4 in PIR).

Who would have thought that after a completely forgettable one-year tour with Buducnost Podgorica and Gran Canaria, the Italian guard would be able to remind everyone of the player who used to "terrorize" defenses all over the country?

The team coached by Alessandro Magro is currently third in the Serie A standings, only behind EuroLeague Final Four aspirants AX Armani Exchange Milan and EuroCup contenders Segafredo Virtus Bologna. Brescia rank third for most points scored, with an average of 82.9 per game, while they are tallying the fourth-best PIR (90.4) in the league.

Della Valle has formed a formidable pair with Nazareth Mitrou-Long, as the two are leading the league scorer charts with 19.2 and 17.5 points per game respectively.

The former Armani Milan guard went for 22 points in 33 minutes against Venezia but that was only a token of his consistency throughout the entire season. Della Valle remains the only player to have scored in double figures in each of the overall 17 games played by Brescia so far after Pietro Aradori's streak stopped at 16.

This season, he has scored less than 10 points only in a Super Cup game on September 5. That was almost five months ago.

Della Valle was named LBA All-Star (2014), Italian Supercup MVP (2015) and All-EuroCup First Team (2018) while playing for Reggio Emilia from 2014 through 2018. He won the FIBA EuroChallenge (2014) and the Italian Supercup (2015) with the same team.

His incredible streak will probably get him back on the big map.
