Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv are hosting Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul next Wednesday night (April 13), in a game that will decide whether the Iraeli team or the reigning champions Anadolu Efes will take the fifth place in the Euroleague standings.

Regardless of whether Maccabi end up fifth or sixth, they will have received the greatest return from this season's games in the EuroLeague when it comes to income from market pool.

According to the data collected by Mozzart Sport, the Israeli giants are going to receive 3.145.881 from the market pool because for many years the TV rights in Israel have brought some serious income to the EuroLeague.

Besides Maccabi, only four other teams will have inflows of more than 2,000,000 euros from the regular season: Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens (2.681.625 each), FC Barcelona and Real Madrid (2.319.424 each).

According to the same source, Crvena Zvezda are not entitled to market pool income, but receive a participation bonus of 200.000 euros, since they don't have a multi-year license.

When it comes to the costs of referees and delegates, teams share equal parts, and therefore each club is obliged to pay 159.630 euros for the regular season alone. The eight teams qualified for the playoffs will be billed another 24.780 euros for their respective series.
