One of the top EuroLeague scorers Elie Okobo is expected to continue his career in AS Monaco, sources tell BasketNews.

Top EuroLeague teams, including Fenerbahce Istanbul, FC Barcelona, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and Virtus Bologna, were closely following Okobo's situation.

But recently, a 24-year-old guard was taken off the market. BasketNews sources indicate that the ASVEL Villeurbanne's leader is on his way to Monaco.

Per BasketNews sources, Okobo is still monitoring his NBA options. But if such one won't appear, he's expected to join Monaco.

Okobo reached his career-high against Panathinaikos, scoring 35 points on 13 of 19 shooting.

In the French league regular season, 1.88 m scorer averaged 13.2 points (2FG: 53.9%; 3FG: 27.5%), 3.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 13.4 EFF.

Monaco are actively building the roster for the second EuroLeague campaign.

They're finalizing agreements with John Brown III, Jordan Loyd, and Jaron Blossomgame.

EuroLeague quarterfinalists are also working on keeping more core players. One of them, Donta Hall, is also finalizing a long-term contract extension.
