Jan Niklas Wimberg will sign a 2-year contract with FC Bayern Munich, according to BasketNews sources.
The news was firstly reported by Robert Heusel.
The 26-year-old forward has been a member of Niners Chemnitz since 2019. He averaged 6.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 8.5 PIR over 23 German league games this past season.
Jan Niklas Wimberg has also played for EWE Baskets Juniors, Rockets Gotha, and Eisbaren Bremerhaven during his professional career and has competed for the German national team, too.
