Basketball Champions League team AEK Athens signed a one-year deal with Latvian veteran Janis Strelnieks, per the official report.
The 32-year-old guard is coming off an injury-plagued season with Zalgiris Kaunas.
He averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 assists, and 5.6 PIR over 23 EuroLeague games last season.
Strelnieks had slightly better numbers in the Lithuanian Basketball League, putting up 7.0 points, 2.8 assists, and 6.8 PIR per game (34 duels).
Before coming to Kaunas, the 1.91-meter player was a member of CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos Piraeus, Brose Bamberg, Budivelnyk Kyiv, Spartak St. Petersburg, and Ventspils.
