The Phoenix Suns announced they have officially waived Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.

Saben Lee and Adonis Arms were the other two players, who left the team ahead of a new season. The Suns' roster now stands at 16 players.

Luwawu-Cabarrot arrived in Phoenix following a silver medal with the French national team at FIBA EuroBasket 2022.

He averaged 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over three preseason games.

The 27-year-old swingman registered 4.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game with the Atlanta Hawks last season.

Luwawu-Cabarrot has 6 years of NBA experience already. Before joining the Hawks, he also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets.

The French player went 24th overall by the 76ers in 2016 after playing four professional seasons in France and Serbia.
