The No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Cade Cunningham, is expected to have a season-ending injury on his left injury, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Cunningham has been sidelined since November 9, and after consulting with multiple doctors, he decided to undergo the procedure.
The Detroit Pistons guard is expected to fully recover before the training of the 2023-24 season.
