The Cleveland Cavaliers-Denver Nuggets game was delayed for about 10 minutes due to an uneven rim. It was the second delay in one week due to the same reason, as Denver's game vs. Boston Celtics on Sunday was interrupted for 40 minutes.
For the second time in a one-week period, a Denver Nuggets game was delayed because of an uneven rim.
Referees stopped the game between the Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers with 11:22 left in the fourth quarter Friday night. Denver led 96-82 at the time of the delay.
Players noticed the same rim that caused an almost 40-minute delay on Sunday night was crooked again.

Just like Sunday, a crew with two orange ladders hustled onto the floor with a wrench and level as the crowd booed loudly.
Denver's Ball Arena workers fixed the problem much quicker than in the Nuggets' win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, with the delay lasting just shy of 10 minutes.
The Nuggets ended up winning 121-108 and got their 10th straight home victory.
