With John Wall sidelined for at least two weeks with an abdominal injury, the Los Angeles Clippers are exploring options on the trading market. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the team is looking to acquire Mike Conley from the Utah Jazz.
There's a rising belief in the league that the Jazz could become a seller before the deadline, Stein reports.
Conley is averaging 10.2 points (lowest since the rookie season), 2.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and a steal per game for the Jazz this season. Having started the season tremendously and even sitting at the very top of the Western Conference at one point, the Jazz have now fallen to a 22-and-24 record and 9th place in the conference standings.
The Clippers are in sixth place in the Western Conference with 23 wins and 22 losses.
