Dallas Mavericks big man Maxi Kleber, who is recovering from surgery to repair a torn hamstring, expects to be ready to play after the All-Star break, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

The German player previously hoped to return before the break, but his comeback will drag on a little bit more.

"I'm not out for the season, I can't give an exact date, but I hope, I'm gonna be back before All-Star break," he said on Bally Sports Southwest's pre-game show on Jan. 19.

Maxi Kleber has averaged 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds over 348 NBA games (136 starts), all with Dallas.
