Thompson last played for the Bulls during the 2021-22 season after getting traded from Sacramento to Indiana in the Haliburton-Sabonis deal.
After being out of the league for almost a year, Tristan Thompson is trying to make his comeback to the NBA.
According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the Los Angeles Lakers are working him out together with Tony Bradley.
Thompson, as well as Bradley, last played for the Chicago Bulls. He was included in the trade package last year that sent Tyrese Haliburton to Indiana Pacers from Sacramento Kings in exchange for Domantas Sabonis.
Throughout his 11-year NBA career, Thompson has been mostly known for his playing days with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he helped LeBron James win the first championship for the franchise.
Thompson has averaged 9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1 assist in his NBA career.
Bradley, meanwhile, was originally drafted by the Lakers in the 2017 NBA draft, but his rights were traded to the Utah Jazz. He spent the last two seasons with the Bulls.
