The Memphis Grizzlies have targeted Franz Wagner in recent months, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

The Grizzlies have been actively pursuing wing players, and in the past, they attempted to acquire Mikal Bridges leading up to the February trade deadline, per the same report.

Memphis recently added Marcus Smart to the roster after a three-team trade.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Wagner averaged 18.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists over 80 games this past season.

Remarkably, Wagner has only missed a total of five games over his first two NBA seasons.

During the last season, Wagner did not miss a single game due to injury, despite encountering a couple of minor ankle tweaks. His only absences were related to disciplinary measures, as he was among the Orlando Magic players who sat out a game following a scuffle in Detroit on December 28. Additionally, he missed a game after the Magic were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
