Martin will play for the Shimane Susanoo Magic in Japan. It will be his second time playing in the country after he started his professional career in 2017 with the Ryukyu Golden Kings.
After a season in Serbia with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, Hassan Martin is now moving to Asia.
The 27-year-old will play in Japan next season, his agent Misko Raznatovic announced on Twitter. Martin's next stop - Shimane Susanoo Magic.
In 23 games for the team in the EuroLeague, Martin averaged 4.9 points and 3.0 rebounds for 5.7 PIR. He played 26 games in the ABA League, averaging 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds for 6.8 PIR.
This will not be Martin's first stint in Japan. He played for the Ryukyu Golden Kings during the 2017-18 season in his first year of professional basketball.
Crvena Zvezda now face a barrage of expired contracts after the 2022-23 season with multiple starting-five players either set to leave the club or uncertain for the future. Most recently, Luca Vildoza officially joined Panathinaikos Athens. Facundo Campazzo reportedly has a deal in place with Real Madrid, Luka Mitrovic's contract negotiations have reportedly stalled, while Filip Petrusev has serious interest from the NBA.
