After eight years in the organization, Bryant Dunston leaves Efes, the club announced.
After eight years with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, veteran center Bryant Dunston will have to search for a new team.
The Turkish club officially announced that it's parting ways with the 37-year-old.
In 29 games with the team last season in the EuroLeague, Dunston averaged 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds for 6.8 PIR. His numbers were better in the Turkish League (BSL) - 8.7 points and 5.4 rebounds for 12.4 PIR.
Throughout his tenure with Efes, Dunston helped the team win the EuroLeague title twice (2021, 2022). Recognized as one of the best defensive anchors in the tournament, Dunston led the league in blocks in 2018. Additionally, he was named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team in 2017.
Together with the club, Dunston won the BSL three times (2019, 2021, 2023), the Turkish Cup twice (2018, 2022), and the Turkish Presidential Cup three times (2018, 2019, 2022).
