Onuralp Bitim will make $559,782 this upcoming season on a two-way contract with the Bulls.
Onuralp Bitim's summer workouts with the Chicago Bulls paid off, as the Turkish international won more than just the appreciation of the franchise. The forward has officially signed a two-way contract with the NBA franchise.
According to Daniel Greenberg, Bitim will be making $559,782 this upcoming season.
Prior to the Bulls, Bitim also had workouts with the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder. In addition, Turkey's EuroLeague representatives -- Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce -- showed interest in him, but the player chose the NBA path instead.
Bitim, 24, is slated to play in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will be hosted in Istanbul in August. Turkey will take part in Group C and will face Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Iceland.
Bitim had an outstanding last season with Frutti Extra Bursaspor, averaging 18.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per Turkish league contest and 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per EuroCup game.
