Serbia and Germany qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics as the best European countries in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
Serbia and Germany became the latest and the last countries that directly qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Both teams became the best two European nations in the FIBA World Cup and received direct tickets to Paris.
Serbia reached the semifinal after beating Lithuania 87-68, while Germany survived the last-second thriller against Latvia and also made the Top 4.

Serbia and Germany joined France (the host nation), Team USA, Canada (best Americas teams), South Sudan (best African team), Japan (best Asian country), and Australia (best Oceania country) as teams that directly qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The remaining four teams participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics basketball tournament will be decided next summer during the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.
Four Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will take place, and only the winner from each tournament will receive the final tickets to Paris.
