The Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet could miss the beginning of the new season.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Shamet broke his big toe and is expected to be sidelined for 2-4 weeks.
In June, the Suns traded Shamet, along with Chris Paul, four first-round pick swaps, and six second-round picks, to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Bradley Beal, Jordan Goodwin, and Isaiah Todd.
Last season, Shamet averaged 8.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in 40 appearances for the Suns.
