Veteran Mike Conley Jr. of the Minnesota Timberwolves revealed that he would pick Rudy Gobert as his MVP of the Timberwolves.
Minnesota Timberwolves' Mike Conley Jr., a veteran of the NBA, where he has played since 2007, revealed the MVP of his team: Rudy Gobert.
"That’s probably Rudy — for us. That’s for us. With him off the court, we’re a different team," Conley praised his teammate to The Athletic.
"We can still win with certain guys out, but with him out [it's harder]. Yeah, I think he would be the most valuable," Conley explained.
Although Gobert is the MVP of the team, according to Conley, the veteran revealed that their leader was someone else.
"Now, the guy who leads us? That's A5 [Anthony Edwards] over there."
The Timberwolves have made a strong start to the season with a record of 22-6. Gobert has been a strong factor in this, averaging a double-double of 12.8 points and 12.3 rebounds.
