The Golden State Warriors might think about trading Andrew Wiggins, going against a previous inclination to not consider trading the forward.
Andrew Wiggins is no longer a no-go zone in regard to trade possibilities for the Golden State Warriors.
Tim Kawakami of The Athletic elaborated on the transformation of attitude.
"Though I've said in the past that the Warriors might be reluctant to trade Andrew Wiggins so soon after he signed a relatively bargain-rate contract extension specifically so he could remain with this team, I've since heard that this would not be a major barrier for the Warriors to explore Wiggins’ trade market."
The contract in question was a 4-year one that is worth $109 million. It was signed last year, making the 2023-24 season the first in the contract.
So far, the forward has been averaging 12.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists this year.
