Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac suffered a right calf injury and will miss at least four weeks of action.
Los Angeles Clippers will have to play without Ivica Zubac for at least four weeks, the team announced.
The Clippers starting five center suffered a strained right calf injury. Mason Plumlee took the starting spot on Tuesday, while Daniel Theis started on Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"We just got to adjust," head coach Ty Lue said. "I think [with] Mase finally trying to get in better shape, he still has a ways to go, but DT, the job he's done since he's been here, now they have a bigger role and more responsibility. We're going to definitely miss Zu."
Zubac has been averaging a career-best 12.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in 38 appearances for the Clippers this season.
The Croatian center also doesn't miss many games – he has played 72 or more games in each of the past four seasons.
