Daniel Hackett will remain with Virtus Segafredo Bologna for the foreseeable future.

The Italian club announced that Hackett, 36, signed a new 2-year deal until the end of the 2025-26 season.

"I'm happy and proud to continue wearing the colors of Virtus for another two seasons and continue to fight together with my teammates and all our fans," Hackett said in the statement.

Hackett joined Virtus in 2022, becoming the EuroCup champion (2022) and Italian Cup winner (2022, 2023) with the club.

This season, Hackett averages 9.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 12.2 PIR per game in 21 EuroLeague appearances for Virtus.
