Named as buyers before the trade deadline, the Dallas Mavericks are acquiring a center.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the Mavericks have traded for Daniel Gafford from the Washington Wizards.
In return, the Wizards are getting Richaun Holmes and draft compensation, Wojnarowski adds.
Gafford has been having the most productive season of his career, averaging 10.9 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Wizards. Holmes, meanwhile, registered 3.4 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Mavs.
