Following a contract buyout with the Detroit Pistons before the March 1 deadline, Milton is now eligible to bolster the Knicks' playoff roster.
Milton, who transitioned from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Pistons at the trade deadline, had a brief tenure in Detroit, featuring in just four games.
Originally chosen as a late second-round pick in the 2018 draft by the Dallas Mavericks, Milton began his NBA journey with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he spent the first five years of his career.
During his limited stint with the Pistons this season, Milton posted averages of 4.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
He has career averages of 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists over 296 games.
