After displaying solid performances throughout the year, Luka Garza will be awarded for his effort by his team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to Shams Chanaria, the center's contract will be transformed from a two-way one to a standard one by the Timberwolves.
Garza, splitting his time between the NBA and the G-League, has demonstrated his value for the team in both contests. In the G-League, he is averaging monster numbers of 36.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game with the Iowa Wolves.
In 20 games in the regular NBA, Garza is averaging 4.2 points and 1.2 rebounds.
He had his best game today, on April 4, against the Toronto Raptors. In the 133-85 blowout win, Garza had 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
