UConn coach Dan Hurley had a positive meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Hurley said the Lakers made a "compelling case" for him to become the team's next head coach, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Lakers, represented by VP and general manager Rob Pelinka and owner Jeanie Buss, also reportedly presented a "compelling vision" that left Hurley "extremely" impressed" after the meeting.
The 51-year-old Hurley, who led UConn to back-to-back titles in the NCAA, is expected to make a decision on Monday.
