According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, Dinwiddie has agreed on a one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
The 30-year-old represented the Brooklyn Nets last season before getting traded before the deadline. Dinwiddie was initially sent to the Toronto Raptors but was subsequently waived and later signed by the Los Angeles Lakers.
With the Lakers, Dinwiddie averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
Dinwiddie last played for the Mavericks during the 2022-23 NBA season before getting traded to the Nets. Throughout his two seasons with Dallas, Dinwiddie averaged 17.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.
