Kai Jones' Exhibit 10 contract was converted into a two-way deal, and the 23-year-old, who became infamous in 2023 for his behavior on Instagram and X, will play in the NBA again.
Kai Jones stepped away from the NBA when his mental health became a publicly discussed subject. The 23-year-old center is now back in the league.
According to Chris Haynes from Bleacher Report, the Los Angeles Clippers are converting Jones' Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal, thus earning him a roster spot for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Jones averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game for the Clippers in the preseason.

In September 2023, Jones sparked controversy after exhibiting strange behavior during an Instagram Live session, appearing incoherent at times, with the walls of his room seemingly covered in crayon scribbles.
Sometime later, Jones took to Instagram to openly criticize teammates, he also made a claim on X, formerly Twitter, that he would beat LeBron James in a one-on-one matchup.
Jones underwent therapy.
"I want to thank the NBPA. They stepped in and played a major role in my off-the-court development program, where I was doing therapy two times a week to get me ready to get back into this professional environment," Jones said during a press conference last season.
