Max Strus will be out of action for a minimum of six weeks after sustaining a right ankle sprain according to Shans Charania.

This injury comes at a crucial time as the Cavaliers prepare for the upcoming NBA season, having recently completed their preseason games

Strus joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2023 through a sign-and-trade deal with the Miami Heat.

Last season, Strus averaged 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists a game for the Cavaliers.

His absence will require the team to rely on other players to step up, particularly in the guard position.
