Buddy Hield's stint with the Golden State Warriors is off to a flying start.

Bahamas NT Guard has set a new NBA record for three-point shots made in first two matches with a new team last night against the Utah Jazz.

After scoring 5 on his debut versus the Portland Trail Blazers, Hield dropped 7 shots beyond the arc against Utah, setting a record in this category at 12 threes made.

Most notable thing about this feat is that Hield needed only 16 shots to accomplish it, as both Portland and Utah games were blowout wins, so Hield definitely could've shot more threes if it was needed.

Warriors' coach Steve Kerr raved about Hield's performance in a post-game interview, noting that Hield scored 24 of his 27 points in the first half, before blowout happened.

"It was incredible watching him that first half. He brings so much energy to the floor," Kerr said of Hield.

"Part of it is the way he plays, seeking those shots, seeking the threes and sprinting the floor. He runs so hard both directions, and sets a tone for us."

"Other part is he's an incredible person and teammate. Full of joy, the bench is laughing all the time with him. What he brings to the team goes way beyond just his shooting. We are thrilled to have Buddy," Kerr concluded.
