Zaccharie Risacher talked about the possibility of playing in the EuroBasket 2025, claiming that representing France is a childhood dream.
The Atlanta Hawks wing and No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher discussed the possibility of playing in the upcoming EuroBasket 2025.
France hasn't clinched the spot in the main tournament so far, but at this point, it's a matter of time since Les Bleus have a 4-0 record in the Qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Risacher can't wait to wear his country's jersey.

"The French national team is a childhood dream," Risacher told Benjamin Moubeche from BasketSession. "It's always something special. Every competitor wants to win medals for their country, and for me, it would be an immense honor to represent France at the EuroBasket."
"I'm really looking forward to the day I get to play for this team. And, of course, I'd be thrilled to reunite with my former coach!" Risacher added, talking about Frederic Fauthoux.
Fauthoux is the current French national team's head coach and a former Risacher's coach. Both of them worked together at Bourg-en-Bresse before Risacher was drafted.
This season, Risacher averages 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in 29 appearances for the Hawks.
