Tyler Kolek made NBA history by pulling off a rare day-night doubleheader to kick off 2025.

The rookie guard played 40 minutes for the Westchester Knicks in a G-League game in the afternoon, scoring 40 points. only to be called up for the NBA squad that evening due to injuries to Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride.

Kolek logged 12 minutes off the bench in the New York Knicks' 119-103 win over the Utah Jazz, contributing two points and four assists. Despite the heavy workload, he embraced the challenge, showing his passion and readiness to step up when needed.
