Franz Wagner talked to the media after the practice on his current injury status, saying that the injury itself is in the past and that he needs to work on his conditioning.
Orlando Magic star Franz Wagner is slowly getting back to action after suffering a torn right oblique last December. The 23-year-old forward updated the media on his situation.
"Pretty much the muscle is not the issue at this point. It's more of getting back in shape, making sure that I check all of the boxes before I go play a game," Wagner told Orlando media via Orlando Sentinel.
Wagner remains listed 'out' as he's continuing his 'return to competition conditioning'.

The same injury occurred to Paolo Banchero, who had already returned to action after being sidelined since October 31, when he went down against the Chicago Bulls.
However, Wagner's recovery seems to have gone much faster, as Banchero took 2.5 months to fully recover.
This season, Wagner averages 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.
