The Chicago Bulls are looking to enter full rebuild mode by shopping their veteran players ahead of the trade deadline on Feb. 6.
After trading their All-Star-caliber guard Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings, the Bulls are now exploring ways to acquire draft assets for another guard, Lonzo Ball.
According to Evan Sidery, Chicago is actively shopping Ball in hopes of landing second-round draft picks. If a trade doesn’t materialize before the deadline, Ball is expected to be one of the top buyout candidates this season.
After missing two years due to injuries, Ball has returned to action, averaging 7.2 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 29 games this season.
