Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic fractured his hand in the first half of the game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Miami Heat took a significant injury blow in their 120-113 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, as forward Nikola Jovic suffered a hand injury.
Jovic played 15 minutes in the first half before exiting the game with what appeared to be a broken hand. X-rays confirmed a fracture in the second metacarpal of his right hand, and the injury is expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period, according to CBS Sports.
The Serbian forward revealed that he immediately felt something was wrong with his hand after colliding with Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma early in the game.
Jovic has been a key contributor to the Heat’s rotation this season, averaging 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 46 games played.
