Saddiq Bey, who tore his ACL in March 2024 while with the Hawks, is on track to return to the court soon. The Wizards hope to have him play in some NBA games by April.
Washington Wizards forward Saddiq Bey has been sidelined since March 10, 2024, when he tore the ACL in his left knee while playing for the Atlanta Hawks.
Now, a little over a year since his injury, Bey appears to be making progress toward a return to the court. According to Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Bey is set to practice with the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, on Friday and Saturday this week.
The Wizards are optimistic that Bey could make his NBA comeback in April. The team has seven games scheduled for next month, including one on April 13, which will be the final game of the regular season.
