OG Anunoby is enjoying in a nice season with the New York Knicks as they are approaching the playoffs.

Anunoby has something to say on an individual level though, as he is sure that he's ready to win some accolades for his defense:

"I should make First Team All-Defense and I should win the Defensive Player of the Year award," Anunoby said to Kristian Winfield of New York Daily News.

Anunoby argues why he could win the award even though centers and power forwards won them 32 out of previous 41 times:

"That's because of the blocks," Anunoby starts. "Stats for my defensive presence don't exist. You can't measure with stats how many times you made your opponent lose his dribble, stats don't say everything."
