Filip Petrusev did everything he could to help Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade extend their season—scoring 30 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists for a performance index rating of 32—but it still wasn’t enough.

Zvezda ultimately fell to FC Bayern Munich, 93–97, in a play-in battle for a final shot at securing a EuroLeague playoff berth.

After the game, Petrusev spoke to Meridian Sport, reflecting on Zvezda’s EuroLeague campaign and expressing his belief that just one more win could have changed everything.

"There’s a lot of regret," Petrusev said. "We lost a bunch of games by a single possession—games we could’ve won. If we had taken even one of those, we’d be in the playoffs, where I believe we belong."

The Serbian forward emphasized the importance of learning from the experience as a team and also hinted at a possible return to Zvezda next season.

"We need to learn from this, keep most of the team together, and carry that into next season. I hope I’ll still be here—why not?" Petrusev hinted.

After being loaned from Olympiacos early this season, he has been outstanding for Zvezda in the EuroLeague, averaging 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in just over 21 minutes per game.
