Luka Doncic confirmed that he and Mavericks GM Nico Harrison have not spoken since his trade, adding that his intention was always to finish his career in Dallas.
In a recent roundtable with Dallas media, Mavericks GM Nico Harrison reaffirmed that he doesn't regret trading Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis, repeating his belief that "defense wins championships."
The current Los Angeles Lakers guard responded to these remarks, telling ESPN's Malika Andrews:
"It's just sad the way he's talking right now. I never say anything bad about him, and I just want to move on," Doncic said. "The fans, my ex-teammates always keep it hard. It's time for me to move on from there."

When asked by Malika Andrews if he had spoken to Nico Harrison since his departure from Dallas, Luka replied, "No."
She followed up, asking if they had talked the night he was traded, to which Doncic again said, "No."
Malika then asked if Luka had intended to finish his career in Dallas.
He answered simply, "Of course. It's an easy question."
During the same discussion, Harrison also mentioned that the Mavs had doubts about Doncic signing a supermax deal in the upcoming summer, which was another reason to trade him.
