More importantly, he guided the Thunder to an NBA-best 68-14 record, making them the top seed heading into the postseason.
Nikola Jokic, a two-time MVP and one of the most efficient big men in league history, averaged a triple-double with 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10.2 assists.
He led the NBA in rebounding and was the engine behind Denver’s 50-32 record, good enough for home-court advantage in the early rounds of the playoffs.
