Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for using inappropriate language and making an obscene gesture toward a fan during Game 1 of the Timberwolves-Lakers first-round series.
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 for directing inappropriate language and making an obscene gesture toward a fan during their recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the team’s Game 1 victory over the Lakers, 117-95, Edwards had a heated exchange with a fan who was heckling his teammate, Rudy Gobert.
Not one to back down, Edwards stepped in to defend Gobert, responding to the taunts with an explicit retort.
"He's got $200 million! $200 million! $300 million! And my d*** is bigger than yours," Edwards shouted back at the fan.
