Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla went viral after Game 1 of the first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic for a fiery moment in which he screamed at Jayson Tatum to get up quickly following an apparent wrist injury.
After Tatum remained on the floor for several seconds, Boston’s medical staff began to approach him. However, Mazzulla intervened and shouted at Tatum to get up instead.
Mazzulla addressed the incident before Game 2, offering a one-word explanation in his typically nonchalant fashion, saying the moment was simply "love."
Game 2 is set for Tuesday in Boston, though Tatum’s status remains uncertain. He’s been listed as day-to-day with a bone bruise in his right wrist.
